Carbon capture

Carbon capture is a practice that allows carbon dioxide to be captured and stored (CO₂) emitted by industrial activities and the burning of fossil fuels, preventing their release into the atmosphere. This activity, carried out by certain technologies, is considered crucial for reduce CO₂ emissions and limit the climate change. The captured carbon can be stored in deep geological formations or used in other industrial processes.
